South America

Round about your bounds
In all spaces beneath and above your land
In your seas , rivers and valleys
In your caves in your woodlands
Right in your every town in every city
His presence dominates every part of your territories

Those that dwell in you will feel him if they seek him
If they seek him whole heartedly they will find him
He is ever ready to bind the wounds of your broken hearted ,
He is ever ready to save your crushed in spirit and heal your bedridden
He is God ever present ,ever ready to uplift your down trodden and weary

Praise his holy name oh South America
In these your days of peace and tranquility
Forget not your Creator in your days of Goodwill
Remember all the marvelous works and great deeds he has done for you

Open your eyes awide ,Look around you and see
Open your ears, listen to the echoes of gunshots in war torn Gaza Strip
Hear them wailing sounds of children in war torn Sierra Leone
They run away from gunshots on bare feet and empty tummies
Will you not thank the almighty for your stability beloved South America

This is certainly an inspirational poem. Although, to be entirely honest, I'm not sure how accurate it is. People are routinely kidnapped in Columbia, streets kids are gunned down in Brazil. An absence of international news reports doesn't automatically imply that all is well. Let's pray for South America that they will indeed seek and find the Prince of Peace.
