An evil foe of great deceit;
At every opportunity
Resolves to cause the saints’ defeat.
A wily master of charade,
Whose work is by deceptive power,
Can, as an angel masquerade,
Or as a roaring lion devour.
In Paradise his first abode,
He walked among the fiery gems,
As mighty cherub proudly strode;
Iniquity was found in him.
Now fallen far from Heaven’s heights,
Is Lucifer, the son of morn’---
The prince of dark demonic light,
Opposed to God---he’s Hell’s first-born!
In tranquil Eden manifest;
A serpent tempting Eve to fall;
She ate the fruit at his behest,
Brought sin and death to one and all.
But God declares, the woman’s Seed
Will one day crush the serpent’s head---
Our great Redemption guaranteed!!
No one can thwart what God has said!!
False religion is Satan’s scheme
In leading men to worship him;
His programme, is to reign supreme,
To conquer all the souls of men.
He blinds the unbelievers’ minds;
They’re craving worldly accolades;
Without repentance, they will find,
Its treasures all are blank facades.
Satan rules on this fallen earth,
A fact detailed by Jesus Christ--
Immanuel, Who through virgin birth
Came to pay our redemption price.
Christ, the Seed, died on Calvary--
Propitiation for our sin;
By death, He crushed the adversary
Of all who put their faith in Him.
The great charade of outward glitz
Masks a perverse and fallen world,
Leads to the final, fatal blitz
When Satan’s antichrist’s unfurled.
The final chapter has been penned,
Millennia before the days;
God has forever known the end;
It will be as The Scripture says.
