Topic: Beach (07/04/05)
The Beach
The waves come and go! Up and down the beach Come and go no matter what the weather is like even when no one is around, to see or to watch them come and go!
However they are unforgiving and relentless at coming and going often pounding away at the shore causing the shoreline to be forever changing.
Rolling in and out they continue to be part of the beach, wether it be on to the rocks, cliff faces or on to a sandy beach they never stop.
One can walk down the beach at any time and see many different things, patterns in the sand or in the water or even on the horizon to the sky above, sand, soft hard, hot or cold, debris from rubbish to dead or dieing fish or animals that have become part of the water that comes and goes onto the beach, to trees and leaves to seaweed that has been torn from the bottom of the sea both near and far to the beach.
Birds fly over head often swooping down and rising just as fast often scaring people and others as they look for food or to protect their young.
Swoosh swish is the sound that is sometimes loud other times so suttel that you don’t realise that you are walking in water until you become wet to your waist and your feet begin to sink faster and faster as the water retreats.
Sand that floats or is driven harshly along the beach, that stings as it hits you smack in your face, it tastes gritty and causes your eyes to water as ti flows on by wrapping around you and continuing along the beach.
Oh the joy of just siting on the beach and watching and listening to all the sights, sounds and many different things that are never repeated in the same way every second of the day!

Very nice descriptions. (just a few techincal things that could use some work). A little proofreading (maybe ask a friend), and I read mine out loud.

Good imagery and descriptions, a proof reader will help you, but this is a good start.

I was starting to get a little sea sickness, with the coming and going, and rolling. Nothing bad intended. That's how vivid the descriptions were. Good descriptions for a beginner. Keep on keepin on. God bless ya, littlelight
