What a wonderful gift God gave us when he created fathers.They understand us ,protect us and most of all love us.As I wander back in time to my father tears softly roll down my cheeks.Sometimes the pain is unbearable.To me he was a wonderful man,caring,loving and most of all a good father.He was taken away from me at an early age and all was left was an empty void.A void that now at the age of 43 I am still trying to fill.A void I know will never be filled because no one else could every take his place.So I have decided deep in my heart to keep my fathers memories there until my day have come and I join him and God in heaven.Then and only then that sad lonely empty void will be filled.

Thank you for having the courage to share your grief and sadness over the loss of your father. May I venture to say that only our heavenly Father can truly fill that void? He is the one Who created us as His temple, His dwelling place and only He can fill the void.

Your story brought tears to my eyes,. sister. We just don't know how others feel about losing their father, do we? I am glad you wrote about it. Sometimes it helps us a lot. He was the best Dad, wasn't he. God Bless. Ang
