Of cowboys and Indians.
The gallant fighter,
Delivering the innocent
From being scalped.
Tell me a story
Of the saintly knight,
Brandishing his blade.
Overwhelming evil
In honor of a Princess.
Tell me a story
Of a cunning rider.
Dodging trees on his steed.
Persevering the treacherous weather,
To bring essential medicine
to the sick children.
Tell me a story
Of the gunfighter,
Who went after depraved men,
And brought them to justice.
Making peace in all the West.
Tell me a story.
Of the ambush
He set for Grandma,
And how he hid
until she wasn’t angry anymore.
Tell me a story.
Of your first boyfriend,
And how he threatened
To clobber him,
If he didn’t treat you right.
Tell me a story.
Of the cowboy, knight, rider, gunfighter, protector
And pain in Grandma’s side.
You knew him before I did.
Because you are Daddy’s sister.

I loved the "pain in grandma's side" line, how true, how very true.
Well done, keep writing!
