"Stop! Do not back the car without looking behind you first". I hate hearing things like that. He acts like I don’t know what I am doing. My dad says it is important to actually turn your head, not just look in the rear and side view mirrors. Personally, I don’t see why a car has mirrors if they can not be the main way of looking behind you. Oh my gosh, what is the deal with the seatbelt rule, I can’t even slouch down real low in my seat and the shoulder strap tries to choke me. Does dad not understand the importance of looking and being cool. He acts like his way is the correct way. I am too busy to have my seat in an upright position, with seatbelt secured and looking all over the place for people and objects, before I am allowed to move. But, he’s the boss.

So, I have done everything needed to make my dad happy and have the car going in a forward motion. You know, I could get used to this. I am coming up to the stop sign, my blinker is on and there........ I did it, my first right turn.
