When my son was about two and a half to three years of age, he decided that it would be way more fun to flush the toilette than to do his business in it. The toilette was flushing steadily and I allowed it. I anticipated that he’d grow bored and get it out of his system.
As I was cooking dinner one afternoon, the flushing began. My mothers’ intuition was right and he did grow bored. Flushing didn’t seem to be enough though. My designer teddy bear soap captured my son’s attention. He decided to make things a little more thrilling for himself and flush it down the toilette. At least, that’s what he attempted to do.
Teuvo came running down the hall with a very pleased look on his face, clapping his hands.
“I did it, I did it” he said.
I dropped what I was doing and ran faster than the speed of light down the hall.
“What did you do?”
With the toilette water running, I assumed he’d flushed the toilette again. Why was he proud of himself this time? He’s been flushing the toilette all week. I couldn’t figure it out and my childlike communication skills couldn’t seem to find the answer. All I knew was that something was flushed and things were not flowing as they should.
My husband came home to this wonderful news and gave me a look of “you’ve got to be kidding!” Immediately the investigation began. With only one bathroom in the house, repairs couldn’t wait too long! Two hours later with the toilette completely dismantled and after a fight with the sewer snake, we found Mr. Teddy. Good thing we did, as Mr. Teddy wasn’t the sort of soap to dissolve any time soon.
Teuvo eventually grew bored of flushing the toilette, using the yard and smearing the walls. For some unknown reason, it took a very long time before his curiosity diminished and decided to use the toilette full time, for its intended purpose.

The word "toilette" has a different meaning from the word "toilet", which is the word I think you wanted (unless it's a UK thing, in which case I'm wrong...wouldn't be the first time.)
