Have you ever had a heavy burden? Something that weighed down your life? Most of us have had some times when we were burdened, and we don’t remember those as happy times. They were sorry, miserable times. It's encouraging that Jesus is concerned about people with burdens, those whose every day is wretched. He gave the invitation to those who are heavily burdened to come to Him, and He would give them rest. I'm glad there is a promise the He will lift my burdens, and restore a cheerful heart. I'm glad that the LORD cares whether I am burdened or cheerful. I'm glad I have been invited to be part of the LORD's continual feast. I'm glad I can hand over those burdens and rejoice!
