"A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps." (Proverbs 14:15)

Have you ever been duped? Have you believed something that was not true and later felt used and abused? Most of us have. In some ways life is a journey from naivete to prudence. A small child is easily fooled because they know little about life. They marvel when you do a slight of hand trick like pulling a coin out of the air. An adult knows it is a trick. The LORD expects us to become prudent, to give thought to our lives and ways and to stop being simple. It is not faith but foolishness to believe anything and everything that comes along. A prudent man thinks about his life and ways. Think!!
