Life or Death

Jesus said, “Not what goes in
That causes men to be condemn”
Food alone can’t make you die
It’s what you believe deep inside

Out of the mouth men do condemn
Not done in faith then it is sin
For from our words death does stem
Continue in sin and death will win

Out of the abundance of the heart
The tongue spreads life or death
The choice is yours to hear each part
Words carry them in your breath

God said that He made all things good
Will you now take Him at His Word?
I’m still learning more each day
About what, God did have to say

You may choose to listen to men
The choice is yours you see
With God I found that I could win
God’s truth has set me free
