Now talk about me much as you please
but the more you do, I'll stay on my knees
For the righteousness of God is not by my might
but by his loving spirit that is always right

I can sell out and take another kind of life
but I'd only bring hate, that can cut like a knife
So when I lay my heart down at the Lords feet
then he'll feed me with right meat

For I do not fear man nor of his ways
I'll take God's laws, they'd give me good days
So go right ahead and throw your stones
I'll stay with the word and that alone

For man is here today and gone tomorrow
after leaving your heart so filled with sorrow
But God will always come by and still our cry
for his word told us he cannot lie

So who's the best one should I trust
well that is God who will never age or rust
So I'll pack up my gear and run to the hills
and wait right there for his refills

Of his saving grace that is sweet and sound
that has such a love that can be found
For whenever my heart is sinking low down
he'll pick it up before it hits the ground

Then he'll give me his peace deep dowm within
that willnever cease or have no end
All of these goodies they are under one thing
it's everlasting love, Our God did bring
