Children of God our flames are still burning
after the enemy try to put them out
But the spirit of the Lord, it did come by
to let us know it was on it's route

For to disperse his angles one by one
to lift us up with their wings
And for them to carry us to that secret place
where joy bells forever rings

The enemy of our soul he thought it was over
as he tried to do us in
But the Lord stood up and was our defense
by moving from within

His objective was to defame our spiritual walk
with the Lord our Savior and King
Oh he did try hard to steal our crown
but, it only came to nothing

For the word told us after we have been tried
we shall come forth as gold
So to the Lord, belongs the glory
and in our hearts now hold

O' the fruits of the Lord they so gracious
so sweet as sugar as spice
And they will work in the hottest battle
so to make it come out right

When the enemy throws his many darts
our Savior will fight for us
So we don't have to fear he is on his job
and on him we can always trust

O' the victories of a child of the King
are more than the eyes can see
Because our wars are not fought in the flesh
nor can it ever be

For the arms of the Lord are great and mighty
that can pull down any strong hold
And we can be grateful, for his power
that keeps us standing bold

So when the enemy come in just like a flood
just stand still it will be all right
For the spirit of God has made this plain
that he'll be our tower of light

That will see us through whatever does come
he'll make our paths safe and clear
And with an on time God we can't help but win
whenever his presence is near
