Now do you hear the joy bells ringing
down deep within the soul
For this is a beginning of a new day
that the heart now can hold

No more delays or even looking back
can you see it has came around
And each passing dark day now will be bright
so look up, don't look down

Our hopes have arrived to help clear the eyes
so our flowers will bloom at night
So though it seem late, but God held the mandate
and knows we have earned this right

Because of all the feats we bore in the heat
it is now time to have a break
For the justice of God has rain down compassion
and now is here for us to take

What grace he did extend while going through
what everlasting mercy was given to us
such loving kindness did he pour from above
O' what arms that we can trust

No he did not move us out of our test
but gave more strength to bear
And didn't let anyone of them to do us in
for he had us fully in his care

So fill up O' hearts on his abundant joy
lock it in, so that it can stay
For he has kept his promise to give us rest
now behold this is a new day

This is not saying other days of trials won't come
least we'll be full of peace inside
It was wise of the heart to pursue the solution
that only can come from a loving God
