Dear Lord,

I write these words to thank you
for stopping by to give me another day
also waking me up with a praise on my lips
and then leading my heart to pray
I want to thank you for coming by on last night
placing your angels all around my bed
That made me sleep so sound and peaceful
and having no worries in my head
In the morning you woke me with a loving touch
that enable me to walk, talk, hear and see
To smell, to feel, to taste, eat and drink
all of these are a blessing to me
I thank you for the times you've been my guide
to steer me through each day
And I had no doubt while on each route
for you went before me to clear the way
Lord I want to let you know how I apreciate you
for all times you took care of me
Even in my mistakes you were right there
letting me know I still belong to thee
Now as I close this letter of praise to you
I thank you for life that I can enjoy
and I count every moment as a gift from above
as like a child with a brand new toy
