Now it takes the potter to put us back together
for he made the clay from the start
So again it will take some carving and trimming
now don't be sad, this is his part

He aready knows what has been damaged
and does see every dent and mark
He had fashioned it before from head to toe
so he knows when it needs some spark

After it had been bruised marred and scared
bent out shape here and there
Because of on-going wars, deep down within
that did come from everywhere

But, no pain no gain O' clay O' clay
this is what you aready do know
That it takes suffering for to be effective
so let the carving be fast or slow

His caring hands are filled with so much love
and his works they will be sweet
O' clay you'll need his touch inside and out
so it will not suffer defeat

So it's time to go down to the potters house
to get updated in what it will need
It won't cost one dime, only a bit of it's time
to rid of every unhealthy deed

Sometmes the heart will want to close it's door
and do feel it wants to bail out
Because of somethings that it has to endure
but it prays not to lose any bout

The eye shades of ours we want to pull down
close the curtains and just go to sleep
To escape the pains and hurts, that often come
but, we pray our soul's God to keep

We cry, Lord can we enter the potters room
to be under your care a little while
Take all the time you need to redo this thy clay
O' what a blessing to be your child

There is so much debris that comes to clutter
that tries to latch within the mind
That's why we need your hands of deliverance
and that is truly all the time

Now we may not be a great movie star
but we sure can be God's light
That he alone can fix in the way he desires
to make sure it comes out right
