Where are you my God,

whom I have worshiped and praised?

Where is your light in my dark moments?

What cause have I to answer the ridicule of scoffers

when you remain silent?

How shall I declare your wonders

when you stay your hand?

With what fortitude shall I face the long march of this valley

when my hope has for so long been in vain?



Rise up O heavenly father and answer my prayers

Let your servants see the power of your might

Prove the promise of your words almighty father

and chase shame from our countenance.

Remove doubt from our presence

and let our faith bear abundant fruit,

as your spirit moves by our side.
