Float Away
Undone by arrogance overwhelmed by pride
Facing the truth with nowhere to hide
Brought down so low by a mighty wind
Can we truly believe that this is the end
Cries for pity and words profane
Screams of anger and shouts of blame
That a mighty flag can fly so low
Who could foretell what power could know
High and mighty forgotten and few
None were spared when that mighty wind blew
Lords of destruction with power and might
Can they save our poor in their times of fright
With words of his blessing, caressing our lips
We flaunt his truth and find idols to kiss
To whom shall we turn, to whom will we pray
When the hope for their futures all float away
