WHAT IS ON YOUR MIND?
Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speak and we eventually act on what we keep saying. Luke 6:45. internal beliefs inevitably dictate external behaviors. This idea highlights why true Christian spiritual growth focuses on transforming how you think rather than just managing how you act When a believer in Christ allows culture, media, and societal norms to shape their mindset, they adopt a worldly worldview. What you keep watching, seeing and hearing is greatly affecting how you think and eventually how you act and react. A Christian who is not learning to think like God thinks, but think like the world thinks, will act and react like the world.
Romans 12:2.
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think - thinking and speaking according to God's Word. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
2 Corinthians 10.3-5.
We are human, in this world, but we don't react, wage war with human, worldly plans and methods.
We use God's mighty weapons and divine plans, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil's strongholds.
With these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. With these weapons we conquer their rebellious ideas, and we teach them to obey Christ.
Isaiah 55:8-11.
"My thoughts are completely different from yours," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
"The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
GOD'S WORD OR PROMISE IN GOD'S MOUTH IS AS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE AS HIS WORD AND PROMISE SPOKEN BOLDLY AND IN FAITH FROM OUR MOUTH.
1 John 5.14,15.
Now this is the confidence that we have in God, that if we ask anything according to His will, His Word He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Philippians 4.8.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
