GO TO THE NATIONS.
Continuous growth requires us to view every achievement not as a final destination, but as a foundation for the next step. Keeping humble ensures we never stop learning and climbing God has a global outreach for us with global relevance, influence and prominence, but the devil has locked most of us up in ONLY local ministry. It's time to break out, not by our might, power or connections, but by the Spirit of God.
Zechariah 4:6.
Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, “This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the Lord of hosts.
Psalm 2:8.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and EVEN TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD.”
Revelation 3:8.
‘I know your deeds. See, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut, for you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not renounced or denied My name
Psalm 2:8.
Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.
Isaiah 66:12-13.
The LORD says, “I will bring you lasting prosperity; the wealth of the nations will flow to you like a river that never goes dry. You will be like a child that is nursed by its mother, carried in her arms, and treated with love. I will comfort you in Jerusalem, as a mother comforts her child.
When God desires and designs global outreach, prominence and influence for us, our greatest enemy at that point will be our current local influence, popularity and prominence surrounded by everyone's affirmation, applaud and validation. This eventually leads to self satisfaction and conceit. Now we're sure we have arrived and has no need to press further towards our higher calling in Christ Jesus to the Nations that are eagerly waiting for our manifestation as sons, daughters and heirs of God.
Our current success is choking our future and ultimate purpose in Christ Jesus.
Let the passion of Jesus Christ possess our hearts and wean us from the foggy, dizzy, seductive and deceptive euphoria, created by local popularity and accolades. This is creating a false sense of completion, which halts spiritual and geographic progression. Let us give ourselves no rest until we break out, stretch out and reach out to take the Nations for our soon returning Lord, Jesus Christ.
No one has arrived if we're still alive. Whatever we might consider as the peak of success and excellence is usually mediocrity and just the beginnings in God's original calling and destiny for us, and outright disobedience to remain in our status quo and not follow through in all God calls us to do.
Key Risks of Local Prominence
Stagnation: Early praise makes leaders settle before reaching global assignments.
Conceit: Continuous local applause breeds pride and self-satisfaction.
Blinded Vision: Seductive local euphoria obscures the needs of waiting nations.
Settled Mindset: Believing "we have arrived" cancels the drive to press forward.
The Path to Global Breakthrough.
Active Weaning: Intentionally disconnect personal identity from local accolades.
Holy Restlessness: Refuse to settle until local boundaries are broken and international goals are created, targeted and pursued.
Possessed by Passion: Allow the specific mission of Jesus Christ to consume daily focus.
Sacrificial Stretching: Push past comfortable territory into unreached global spaces.
Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
it's time to look up and reach out, the Nations are calling and eagerly waiting for us to say from the depth of our heart, "Here I am, send me LORD."
