FORGIVE TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND WITH GOD!
God, our Heavenly Father would never ask us to do anything that would be impossible and never be of benefit to us ultimately. If whatever He asks us to do seems hard, He asks us to seek for His wisdom and supernatural support or assistance. He never withholds assistance to those who ask in faith. James 1:5.
God is urging believers to actively strive for peaceful and harmonious relationships with everyone, not just fellow Christians. It's a call to live in a way that fosters reconciliation, forgiveness, and understanding in all interactions, reflecting the love of Christ and embodying spiritual maturity without compromising holiness.
Mark 11:25.
Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].
As long as our focus is on others and what they did to us, we won't be able to comprehend and appreciate what God is doing in our lives right now, leading to a glorious and a wonderful destiny. We must forgive, die to our pride, excuses and self justification, press for, pursue peace and reconciliation in order to be free, blessed and then advance in God and in life.
Psalm 37:37
Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.
1 Peter 3:9
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.
Hebrews 12:14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
God's hand is upon your life in a mighty way.
Now, that calls for deeper humility, wholehearted dedication and a more disciplined, fervent prayer life, backed up with prompt and absolute obedience to the voice, Word and urgings or promptings of the Holy Spirit. Hesitation and disobedience usually delay and eventually abort our great, glorious destiny! Remember, God loves you and wants the best for you, but will never work against your will to obey and follow His helpful counsel. We have an enemy who wants to steal, kill and destroy, bringing our downfall if we choose disobedience.
John 10:10.
The thief (the Devil) comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus Christ) came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
We must be disciplined to ignore people's negative REACTIONS towards us and press and focus on producing good, great RESULTS, and then, the same people would RESPECT and RECEIVE us. I'm praying with you. Hallelujah!
