                           We All Preach Something

 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
2 Corinthians 4:5 ESV 

Every day, our lives are a reflection to everything around us. Our actions in what we do and say, determine whose side we’re on. The concerns of my heart to want our Lord’s honor, or the reasoning of my fleshly will to rule? As new creatures in Jesus, we have to recognize and decide; “my will” or desiring to focus on the ‘voice of God’s Spirit’ in me for Jesus sake?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Hebrews 12:1ESV
To deny  my self-will on a daily basis to bear my own cross against social pressure and intimidation brings greater desire to listen to ‘God’s Spiritual Voice ‘more and more. My will does not bring profit against the powers of darkness.

For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:25-26 ESV

 God provides instruction on what to do if we genuinely want our lives to reflect the power of His presence to rule.
Put yourselves to the test and judge yourselves, to find out whether you are living in faith. Surely you know that Christ Jesus is in you?—unless you have completely failed I trust you will know that we are not failures.  2 Corinthians 13:5-6 GNT

Father, the more I desire your honor, the more I ask first, in prayer… “Is this the right way to go about this?”
