I Love you more than Life
For Life itself is never enough
To hold a love beyond its lifetime
Only Eternity can suffice to brand this Love.
I Love you more than Life
Love itself is the grinding force
That keeps us alive through the years
The breath of Love breathes in our souls.
I Love you more than Life
I want to catch this love in my hand
I want to lock it forever in my heart
Lest the evening shadows take it away into the twilight
Where it drifts away far from my sight.
I Love you more than Life
Life itself cannot compete and win
When Love stands in the square
It has to salute the Trophy that Love acquires.
I Love you more than Life
Can Life hear the thoughts of Love?
Can Life begin to grasp the enormous feel?
Only God who is Love himself
Who made us to Love like he does
Can understand the supernatural meaning
Of how Love is a continuity beyond the stars.
For Life itself is never enough
