How can it be?
Condemned
A thief
A life
Rejecting law
Despising God
In Paradise today?

But justly I
Condemned
And hanging
Nailed
Till sin its pay collects
In death.
In Paradise today?

This undeserving Christ
Why hangs He here
His life of innocence
Destroyed like mine?
In Paradise today?
In Paradise today?
Amazing grace
He took
My place
My sin
My punishment
To give me life
In Paradise today.
