Speed to Heed
“So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” James 1:19, 20 NKJV.
Three commands we must heed.
Three vital elements in obeying that second great commandment Jesus declares: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” Matthew 22:39 NKJV.
Perhaps we need to write these speed limits on our hearts in order to love our neighbours as much as we love ourselves!
Swift - Slow - Slow.
Swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
Simple!
