Needs or Wants?

Which is more important?
How many of us wake up in the morning and focus on what we want?
No doubt in coming to God in prayer, some of us tell him what we want. But is there any place in God’s word where he listens to what someone wants and gives it to them?
I can’t think of such an example.
God loves us. And he is so deeply concerned about what we need, not what we want.
Therefore, through the apostle Paul who suffered so much, he gives us this glorious promise - “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19, NKJV.
So let’s be more careful to come to the Lord with our needs and not our wants. He is beautifully faithful to his promise.
Praise the name of Jesus.
