The voice of the Lord breaks cedars,
Breaks the cedars of Lebanon;
Skips like a calf of believers,
Sirion as a wild fawn.

The voice of God with desire,
While shaking the wilderness;
He flashes forth flames of fire,
That does shake the woods of Kadesh.

The Lord makes the deer to give birth,
While stripping the forest bare;
The temple cries, “Glory” on earth,
Because the Lord is just and fair.

The Lord enthroned over the flood,
As He sits enthroned forever;
To wash away the sinful crud,
With a love that will not sever.

May God give strength to His people,
May the Lord bless them all with peace;
Taking refuge in His temple,
Praying that hostilities cease.
