A Marvel in our eyes!
The Temple destroyed on the Cross
Raised up in three days
Built to last forever.
A Marvel in our eyes!
The rejected stone by the builders
Now the chief cornerstone of life.
No temple can match its beauty and power.
A Marvel in our eyes!
No precious stones, gems or diamonds
A far brighter and richer outlook.
The dazzling resurrection
The most beautiful temple of God.
A Marvel in our eyes!
Jerusalem astonished.
The scribes and priests baffled.
The Risen Lord walks on earth
His hands and feet bear the marked nails
This temple can never be tampered with.
A Marvel in our eyes!
Tombs opened, holy men came out
Bones prophesied, flesh came over it.
The valley of the dead and grief
Now the valley of the living and hope.
A Marvel in our eyes!
The name given above the heavens
No other name below the heavens.
The name that stands high and tall
The name of Jesus, King of all.
A Marvel in our eyes!
The Holy Spirit came down in tongues
Hot, hot tongues of fire.
Each can speak in his native tongue
God's spirit all over the earth.
A Marvel in our eyes!
Apostles bold set out forth
Healing in the name of the Nazarene.
Cripples ran and the blind could see
The disciples could do the same what Jesus did.
A Marvel in our eyes!
Who would have even had this thought?
The cages, traps and dens of darkness
All banished and vanished forever and ever.
A Marvel in our eyes!
The scene that we loved to see the most
Heaven has been given before our eyes.
Our eyes are filled with tears of joy
Happy emotions running through our heart.
A Marvel in our eyes!
When heaven is revealed to us
When we too will rise gloriously.
When what the Lord has prepared for us
Will be an eternal reality to live in timeless time.
