The promise of Tomorrow
Is an Easter promise from the heart.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is where we are headed and going to.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is the snippets shown to us,
Of the first day at the first time
When a new tomorrow was enrolled for us.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is where Today will lead us into.
What seems in parts and phases now
Will be a complete story on the final run.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is a spring time rush of the feet.
To reach the entrance and look in awe
At the moments rolling before our eyes.
Heartbeats thumping in acceleration to the sky.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is where angels will wait on us.
We too will pass through doors and walls
Our new form will be the same risen from
That Jesus took and will give us all.
The promise of Tomorrow
Is a golden shining city.
We will walk on roads paved and set for our feet
Enter into the banquet feast
To take a forever seat for an eternal meet.
