When the curtain veil was torn
The sun was already darkened for hours.
The rocks split open all over the place
The earth shook in a violent quake.

When the curtain veil was torn 
The Son of God had just given up his spirit.
His three hours excruciation on the Cross
Had finally ended as he breathed his last.

When the curtain veil was torn
Calvary took on a different scene.
Tombs opened, Holy men rose
The temple floor gave way with the force of the moment.

When the curtain veil was torn
Heaven was silent, the angels watched on.
Mary’s heart almost stopped beating
When her Son bowed his head and said it was accomplished.

When the curtain veil was torn
The Holiest place was open at last.
The Saviour had gone in for the supreme sacrifice
He was the Lamb of God atoning for our sins.

When the curtain veil was torn
There was nothing to divide God and man.
Jesus paid the ransom price for us
We could now enter into his very heart.

When the curtain veil was torn
Healings took place in Jerusalem.
The same healing takes place today
Because Jesus the Lamb has conquered it all for us.
No more pain, no more suffering for he took it all on him.

When the curtain veil was torn
Heaven was opened to us as well.
In the finale of a grand Love
The Master embraced us all into his fold.
