That Heavenly Help

.... I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 1 Corinthians 9: 22 (Kjv)

We all need heavenly help from time to time. But the question God has placed upon my heart is, Are we that heavenly help, someone else might desperately need in their life? Because the truth is, we are not meant, as Christians, to keep the Light of the world, Jesus, to ourselves, For He has chosen us each to be a comfort to those around us, to help lift up the feeble hands, those who are weak, who are heavily burdened, and for some, that means praying before the presence of God, asking Him to bring strength, hope, and His heavenly love to them, because we all need Him every second of every day we live. For others to be that heavenly helper for another soul, it may mean doing a kind deed for someone else, but however God desires to place and use us in the life of another, Please be obedient to His will. We might never know on this side of Heaven's pearly gates the impact He made through even you or myself, be it by sowing seeds of His grace and love near the soil of this earth, or by a man who is called by Christ to preach the gospel to a hurting and unsaved group of people, and reap the harvest of a soul being saved, However God leads, we must each of us follow. There is an older woman whose face I remember seeing at different times in a certain place in our city, and when I have on certain days went to check out in this store, she always seems to show such a cheerful attitude, so seemingly joyful while she does what she does, and while I do not know if she enjoys her job or not, she seems to do it with a smile, and while making conversation with me, and if she by chance hates what she does, I do not think anyone would notice. That is the type of attitude that makes an impact on other people, it touches hearts and lives, and though we are all different, each with a unique personality, It makes me think to myself, Someone needs to nominate that lady for The Employee Of The Month! Because whether she realizes or not, God has worked through her to make a positive impact on me personally, encouraging my heart, and this was the focus of the Apostle Paul in the bible, His goal was to "by all means save some". Certain ones are, but not everyone is called by God to become a pastor or preacher, but in some way or another, we who are saved are meant to "preach", this means our goal should be to let our lives be a living reflection of the face of Jesus, a powerful sermon showing people that we are all imperfect Christians, but we are Imperfect Christians saved and forgiven by a perfect God, who loved us, and gave Himself for us at the cross. Others around us need to know we do not have it all together, neither do we hold all the answers, But we know the One who does, He who did not come to this earth to condemn us, but came, that we might be saved. I praise the Lord that He saved me several years ago, and I am not the same, Jesus changes things for the better when He comes into a person's life, and that does not mean I am better in any way than anyone else at all. I do not claim perfection. But Praise Him alone, I claim forgiveness. I claim hope that comes only from God. I claim the only name above all, The name of Jesus Christ, He is my Rescuer, He is the One who is my sufficient Grace, He is my Strength made perfect in weakness, And from a certain standpoint, I do not deserve anything from Him, But He sees me somehow as worthy. I have the greatest treasure of them all. Why do I have this? It is one I could never afford, but was freely given, one that is found in the Person of Jesus Christ, and He came seeking me several years ago. I did not first find Him. What a loving God He is that He would knock upon the door of my heart and keep the door open for a few hours, until I went and asked Him to save me. He gave everything for me, and for you. He is the Father of mercies, and the God of all Comfort, but He uses us to touch another heart and life for His glory, He is all about people. So when we go about our days, live to touch another life, Be intentional, we all need encouragement, and we all need the Father. No one is too spiritual, no one has achieved a heightened level of "Christian perfection". Paul, the Apostle also made this statement in Philippians 3:12 (Kjv): Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. In other words, I believe if the Apostle was still living today, in this age we are now in, He might have something like this to say to His targeted audience: I do not claim perfection in any way, I have not arrived, This I realize, I am not holding onto Jesus, But He is holding onto me. Remember, whatever you might be facing in this hour or timeframe, and in whatever we individually face tomorrow, God is holding onto us, we are in His hands, and nothing, and no one, can, or will, be able to pluck us out. He has you on His heart. He is touched with whatever you are going through. Your situation is not out of His control, it may be out of yours, But it did not surprise Him. He cares for you. Your life is His, not your own, Jesus has paid for our lives, with a high, yet costly price. How might each of us be a heavenly help to someone who desperately needs a miracle, even a living one, maybe even you or myself, in their path, reaching out to touch a heart, pointing them in the direction of everything they ever needed, and so much more?
