John 3:16-17 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Psalm 130: 3-4 (KJV) If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. Two trees, both different, the first dwelt in Eden's garden, the second stood upon a hill, one meant death, ruin, destruction, the other, a symbol of life and salvation, humanity's cure, meant to heal. One carried fruit, the other a body, offering eternal life by the only perfect sacrifice of God's begotten Son, with this priceless gift, this one hope, He was reaching out to give to everyone. That all who may receive, might know with certainty that they have this valuable present from Heaven living deep within, and that they are no longer captive to that person they once had been, a lost prisoner kept by the jail bars of sin. It was by divine Love, Love who gave Himself away, to beat one more time, and then rise to live again, that we might have life through Him today. Thank God for the banner of the cross, the death and resurrection of the Son, Praise Him for the true story of two trees, especially the second that stood on Calvary's hill, when Heaven's greatest victory had been won!
