             Love is a Demonstration of the Heart

Create in me a clean heart, O God,  and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence.
Psalm 51:10-11 ESV

Often, I ask myself if my heart attitude is matching up with wearing God’s name. The more time in our Lord’s word I’m asking myself, ‘where my treasure might be, what my actions and thoughts might be reflecting?’

For sure, serving others is ‘faith in action!’ Dedicating what my tasks might be about, asking for the power of His presence to direct my heart attitude. Each day requires energy and renewed strength. I know this only too well as my wife and I are now in our 80’s. Things we do become more laborious. But through God’s abiding Holy Power, we keep on keep’n’ on.

Faith is demonstrated where we are. Mindful to seek God’s leading for sure, will enrich our spirit to be one with His. For our Lord to be transforming our reasoning to be one with His takes practice. His Spirit is continuously knocking at the door of our heart to keep our mind to be one with His desire in all we’re about.

My family are ever so caring to be looking in on us. Now in our senior years, we are ever so thankful to have them close by. This too, I know is God’s Holy Spirit working in them. Demonstrating their love for us, by example, not neglecting to meet together, as with worship,  (cf: Hebrews10:24-25) has been a testimony of love from all our family members and grandchildren to comfort us. Thank You Lord!

Father, I know you will never cast us aside, thank you.
