                    Does Our Mind Fit God’s Mind?

I’m so thankful God doesn’t put spins upon His promises to us. Even as we lay up His word in our own heart. How we live its truth, we’re never in any way to use it out of context for our own needs.
We might become anxious over something to embellish using His love letter to us. To get our way or to convince another what we might want someone to believe just to get our way. This does not bring God honor, nor does it allow His light to be shown.

Memorizing our Lord’s word truly can bring comfort and calm when obeying the purpose to what is said and why it was given. Walking daily out of sync with God’s intention only reveals immaturity to obeying and trusting God.

I never want to be a stumbling block to those I love, or those I minister to. Our revealing the preeminence of our Lord must be to allow His sufficiency to be recognized.

Many of us who have been following our Lord for years recognize the encouragement and admonition from Proverbs 3:5-6. But we stop and don’t consider verses 7-8:

‘Be not wise in your own eyes;
    fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
 It will be healing to your flesh
    and refreshment to your bones.’

I’m so thankful our Lord will not requite us according to our own sinful thoughts as promised from Psalm 103:9-12.

We truly have a God who loves us and wants only His best to equip us according to His will and honor..
