                            Why He Saved Us

He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5 ESV

How wonderful it is recognizing; God saved us not just for ‘Good Works’- but because of His grace for us on the cross. Good works are essential, as the Apostle James tells us. Our Spiritual renewal, or regeneration, should be a constant growing and learning.

Desire to tell others through the power of God’s abiding Spirit, brings great joy with purpose. Not as the world defines joy or pleasure, but inner satisfaction to our soul that nothing can compare. Titus goes on to share; Whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,  so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

‘Becoming His heir’ brings much joy and blessing to those we share with. Purpose to our own heart, with reward. New birth to those who will receive our Lord, becoming a ‘New Creature.’
Promised in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Becoming new, God’s Holy Spirit becomes our guide. Promise to things we hear, as we listen to the ‘Voice of His Word.’ (Psalm 103:20)

Jesus similarly shares;  ^“ Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

Regeneration and Spiritual renewal indeed give cause to becoming a good ‘fisher of men.’ (Mathew 4:19)

Father, daily meditating and understanding your word in our heart bring blessing why You saved us. AMEN
