The Georgia Guidestones and the Cross of Christ

Recently the Georgia Guidestones landmark was destroyed in an explosion. It was also reported that there was a lightning strike close by. On this monument, not very far from Atlanta, was inscribed the goals of the globalists, including world depopulation. Although the globalists still have their plans, Almighty God also has his plan, which will overrule the globalists. Psalm 2:4 says that God “sits in the heavens and laughs“ at the plans of humanity.

The Guidestones were a symbol of humankind’s arrogance apart from God. I have wondered if their demise was a sign that the godless plan of humanity will not last.

There is another case in the Old Testament where the building of a landmark to honor the arrogance of humanity was put to a stop by God. That was the Tower of Babel mentioned in Genesis 11:4-9. God confused the languages so that the workers could not communicate with one another.

Another historical landmark is a cross used as a symbol of remembrance of those who have passed away. It is also a symbol of the death of Jesus Christ, who was crucified on a cross over 2,000 years ago. More than that, the cross represents God’s plan of redemption and salvation for each individual person, for those who choose to accept Jesus as their Savior. It is a much better plan than what the globalists have to offer! The life-changing power of the cross of Christ in the lives of people down through history is something that can never be destroyed!

First Corinthians 1:18 says, “For the word of he cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God.”

Are you one who has been saved by the power of the cross! Don’t put your eternal salvation in the plans of humanity. Acts 4:12 says “there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
