But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. True life cannot be had living in the flesh. Any satisfaction is shallow and quite often short lived causing the individual to seek more of the same. Living in the Spirit, the Spirit of God, is what brings life to the whole body. The love, joy and peace of the Lord not only permeates the soul, but can bring calm and serenity, which certainly can help the health of anyone. Life lived in the Spirit begins with the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and this life will have no end. It only begins here on earth and will be so magnified in our eternal residence.
