                Jesus’ Glory Brought My Salvation

Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of our religion: He^[was manifested in the flesh,vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 RSV

What hope and promise are given, because of what Jesus did for our behalf! No matter what befalls us, each new day is reason to recognize God’s preeminence at work. As the Father brought Jesus for our redemption, God continues to bring a blessed assurance to us. Throughout the day I may not always be mindful of His Spirit at work, but His presence is here just the same.

The redemption for mankind is part of His character to care and provide. When we might feel vulnerable with temptation, our responsibility is always to look to His way for escape! There simply is not a temptation before us where His presence and spirit will lead us to find our way. The more we witness His presence, the less we will feel our faith as a mystery. Our own vision becomes clearer as evidence.

Too much of our cultural behavior believes some law should be made to keep people from ‘hurting my feelings,’ or not allowing our perception of injustice.  But whatever might be some point of sensitivity, the Father sent us His Son to fulfil all previous attempts to right all things wrong. That is to say, since none is righteous, no, not one, the evidence of His love will suppress the power of darkness out to destroy.

Father, lead us by taking hold your word in our heart as evidence to the mystery of our own faith at work. AMEN
