                      God’s Word – Hope Against ‘Cancel Culture’

“The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” Romans 10:11RSV

Today, we live in what we now call a ‘Cancel Culture,’ where integral honesty and a virtuous lifestyle are almost lost. Were it not for recognizing God’s ‘Narrow Path.’ Singing such wonderful hymns like; ‘My hope is built of nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness….’ must be biblical conviction, not just an emotional surge!

Promises written for us are to strengthen our foundation we stand on. God’s word in your heart and my heart, is key to strengthen faith given us.
 ^‘But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.’ Romans 8:25

Our evidence of being patient, is learning to ‘wait’, and understand God’s promises. It’s victory over our reasoning to please the flesh. Inpatient tendencies can cause one to stumble into the arena where no means yes, and yes means no!

 ^‘For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope;  because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. Romans 8:20-21

Becoming a ‘doer’ of God’s word builds a character that far supersedes our cancel culture of uncertainty and false information so prevalent. Living God’s word is Spiritual Power, to stay the course our Lord sets us on. Our own glorious liberty we take possession of in Christ, sets each one of us free.

Father, we are truly blessed when we take hold Your word in our heart, as victory against deceit from ‘Cancel Culture’
