WHY JESUS CAN’T COME AT ANY MOMENT! – John Tyler,, Author
I must have heard , “Jesus could come at any moment” a thousand times in my life, but the pastors use study guides (apparently), instead of studying the Bible. My own preacher just brought that up again in August of 2021.
Of course, I don’t argue it out with them because they still win souls into the kingdom. My preacher spills the beans every now and then about how he (and 99% of other pastors) come to wrong conclusions. He said, “We’ll be on the subject of X for twelve weeks.” This tells me that they get their messages from already scripted lesson plans.
“You have to tithe every Sunday because Malachi – a prophet of God said so.” That’s another one that I hear even at my own church, but once again – preachers don’t study the Bible! - THEY SOMEHOW SKIP OVER HEBREWS 7:5 THAT TELLS WHO IS TO COLLECT THE TITHE AND FROM WHOM!
My video (link coming up) tells WHY this is written in Hebrews, and WHY God chose the decendents of Levi (now called Rabbis) to collect the tithe...and from whom to collect it - their brothers from the other eleven tribes! My video shows why that verse is there, and it got there because the Jews had a four hundred year interlude from Malachi to Jesus....and in four hundred years, one forgets things! Jesus had to remind the Jews that they must still obey the Laws of Moses..although any Jew is free to accept Christ as Savior and be free from the Law of Moses.
Here’s another one they all seem to get wrong…”There will be seven (7) years of tribulation coming and it all happens right after the rapture.” Some say it all happens BEFORE the rapture! They are all wrong - and the Bible proves it!
And now you are saying to yourself, “John, where do you get your arrogance from, and how is it that you think you know more than pastors?”
A very well-known very elderly pastor who brings weekly services to us on television said this just last week about TITHING: “Malachi said, in Malachi 3:8-10 - “What - will a man rob God? (by withholding the TITHE from the storehouse.” And then he turned to the New Testament to quote from Luke 6:38….”If you give, I will pour you out a blessing”, and he tied that to Malachi’s words of a mandate to tithe- or else. He added, “And God said that He would rebuke the devourer if you TITHE.” – Malachi 3:11.
I won’t skip over what the Bible says about money, but I will tell you that in all of my years on the earth I have never heard one preacher quote from the only verse in the New Testament (other than Jesus talking to a Jewish Pharisee about their tithing of mint and cumin) - Matthew 23:23 - that DOES say who must collect a tithe and from whom…Hebrews 7:5. Faithwriters automatically posts the Bible verses for you, so all you have to do is mouse over them.
I need to save time as I write, so let me direct you to my video of “WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT MONEY”, and I promise you that you will finally understand giving and what Jesus tells us about it and why God wrote the Old Testament to the Jews. That link is here:

And before you think that I don’t do what the Bible tells me to do…you will know that I do – and you should…AFTER you view the video.
So, I want to take the time to dispel the notion that there is a seven year “tribulation Period” that begins AFTER the rapture of the church.
There IS a tribulation period of seven (7) years coming (soon- very soon), but it is definitely broken up into two equal parts of 3.5 years each.
The Bible tells us that something has to happen…and that will be the first part of the seven years of tribulation. In 3.5 years, Jesus comes to take His followers to heaven while He allows Satan to rule the earth for 3.5 years longer…the last half of the Great Tribulation period.
That reminds me of another fallacy that I keep hearing from preachers and others.
“Jesus will come to take the saints to heaven and then “the earth shall burn will fervent heat”. No….Jesus comes back to the earth after Satan has his way with whomever was left at the time of the rapture. Jesus then locks Satan up for one thousand years. Jesus reigns as King – in Jerusalem – for the thousand years and there are no wars during that time….Then, there will be a return to Heaven after that thousand years..and a “Great White Throne of Judgment” will occur.
Those who trusted Christ as Lord & Savior get to stay…while all others not found in the “BOOK OF LIFE” will be cast into the Lake of Fire that is located 1800 miles below the surface of the earth and it burns at 6,000 degrees. (Google – Is there a lake of fire in the center of the earth?”
Then the earth will burn with fervent heat – to destroy any remnant of this sinful ball of dirt…and then a “New Heaven & a New Earth” will take its place. It is here…on the new earth that God Himself will be forevermore and the skies as we now know it will evaporate and we can see into what is now called the THIRD HEAVEN). 2 Corinthians 12:2.
There’s yet another thing that preachers get wrong. They think it was Paul who was caught up into the third heaven, but Paul is talking about his encounter with John…the beloved who wrote the Book of The Revelation,
Yes, it sort of irks me that these preachers bring with them their seminary ways and all the stuff that they were taught with them when they start a church, but then they get lessons sent to them or they buy already written sermons rather than studying the whole Bible and then teaching the truth about what God wrote and what Jesus wrote through 40 different men for well over 1500 years and from three continents….the Bible.
Okay…quickly as I can….Revelation 3:5 tells us that Jesus BLOTS OUT every name of anyone who has died from the Book of the Living” It is those people's names who have been exposed to the Gospel of Christ but who refused to accept Jesus as Lord & Savior, so Jesus has to BLOT OUT their names. This is why God the Father asked, “Are these names written in the Book of Life?” If not, they are cast into the lake of fire (that Jehovah’s Witness folk say doesn’t exist!) – Also see the Old Testament Book of Exodus 32: 32-33 where God tells Moses about this Book of Life.
Now- back to my original subject of “WHY JESUS CAN’T COME AT ANY MOMENT”.
Preachers always go to Matthew 24 to tell of what will happen in THE LAST DAYS…which we are definitely now in). But, I have never seen where a pastor goes over to the Book of Luke!
Matthew was a tax collector..chosen by Jesus to be one of His 12 apostles. Luke was a physician – and never chosen by Jesus to be an apostle.
There I go again! My brain reaches back into the Bible to dispel yet another erroneous belief by many and that is that apostles and prophets abound even today…and that there are more than 12 apostles. Read Luke 16:16 - "The Law of Moses and the Prophets are no more since John (the apostle who wrote the final Book of the New Testament - The Book of The Revelation - around 100 A.D. - Jesus said, my Word is now complete...so there is no longer any need for the prophets and for Christians or anyone else who wish to follow me, the Law of Moses does not apply!
Grrrr!
Jesus chose 12…who the Bible teaches are half of the 24 elders sitting at God’s feet later. 12 are Jews…the 12 Tribes of Israels’ leaders and the other 12 are the only 12 apostles that Jesus ever chose.
Judas was chosen, but never made it into heaven because he turned Jesus over to be killed.
At a meeting of the other apostles, Peter (not Jesus) chose to replace Judas with Matthias. We never hear of - or from Matthias again, but we do know that Jesus CHOSE to replace Judas with Paul – the apostle to the gentiles, and the guy who wrote 13 (half) of the New Testament Books.
There are 27 Books in the New Testament…one has no known author – HEBREWS. That leaves 26 known authors and Paul wrote 13 of them…therefore half.
I can do this all day, but I don’t want you to have to drudge through this stuff all day.
Luke first writes this when you open up the Book of Luke: - and I’m quoting from the easier NLT – Luke 1: 1-4 - “Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. 2 They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early apostles. 3 Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write an accurate account for you, most honorable Theophilus, 4 so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.
So, Paul is telling Theophilus (and us)….” I carefully investigated everything from the beginning when we all encountered Jesus..so I am compelled to write an ACCURATE ACCOUNT so that all who read Luke – now and in the future…can be certain of the TRUTH of all that you were taught.
Matthew tells us this is Matthew 24:15 -22 -15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”
“Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation standing in the Holy Place….meaning one day in the future (end of days), the Holy Place – the Temple..has to be desecrated.”
Who does this desecration? Where is this Holy Temple that was destroyed in 70 A.D.?
Exodus 26:33 tells us that the HOLY TEMPLE is this place called the “Holy Place”. -And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the holy place and the Most Holy.”
This veil was torn from the top to the bottom by God upon the death of His Son on the cross. Where was the veil? - in the Holy Temple.
Therefore – a Holy Temple has to be built on top of Mt. Zion. Then, it will be desecrated by this anti-Christ, and Luke writes about what will happen after that…
Therefore, we must believe all that Jesus told Luke to write….and that includes this:
Luke 21:20 – “And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived.”
Therefore ( I write that word THEREFORE because Luke 21:20 and following is THERE FOR you to read and comprehend.
A temple has to be built atop Mt Zion in Jerusalem BEFORE Jesus can return to take His followers to heaven - aka “the rapture of the saints).
After it is desecrated,, Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies (of Gentiles).
Luke repeats all that Matthew recorded in Matthew 24:
“21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. - 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
Ah, but Luke..the historian of facts adds these verses and these verses are ignored by preachers…
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;(That hasn’t happened yet).
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” - (and THEN…when you see the Temple desecrated….the treaty broken with Israel by the Gentiles who signed it….Jerusalem surrounded by armies of Gentiles…..THEN you shall see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in the clouds.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
So, has a Holy Temple been built on top of Mt. Zion yet? Has the anti-Christ been revealed yet? (he is here now, by the way).
No…but this Holy Temple is planned by Jews to be built..soon. They can’t do it today because after the 6-day war in June of 1967 called the Arab–Israeli war, Israel turned over authority to the Arab Muslims - of the top of Mt. Zion.
The Muslim Arabs control the site where the Holy Temple was erected prior to the destruction in 70 A.D. and that is now the site of the “Dome Of The Rock” and the third holiest Muslim shrine called the al Aqsa Mosque not far from there on top of Mt. Zion.
From The Temple Institute in Israel:
“THOSE AT THE TEMPLE INSTITUTE WHO ARE PLANNING TO BUILD THE THIRD TEMPLE SAY THE TEMPLE “WILL BE A ‘HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS’ AND WILL USHER IN ‘A NEW ERA OF UNIVERSAL HARMONY AND PEACE’, AS PROPHESIED IN THE BIBLE.”
So, you see that Israel IS PLANNING to build the third temple!
Therefore – when YOU see the first shovel full of dirt coming off the top of Mount Zion in Jerusalem…plan on that being the first 3.5 years of the seven (7) year tribulation period………..then – after it is built…it will immediately be desecrated by the anti-Christ….then the Prophet Daniel tells us:, “ in Daniel 9:27 –“And he (anti-Christ) shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years].” So- this world leader of the new Global government) shall make a binding, written document with Israel for SEVEN YEARS. – This is the entire seven year tribulation period’s beginning.
“And in the midst of the week (half way through the seven years) - he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate (Satan himself), until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator.”
So, the Bible tells us that there will be a seven year time of great tribulation in the earth….a treaty will be made with Israel, and be broken half way through or 3.5 years into the signed Agreement...then Jerusalem is surrounded by Gentile armies - the Holy Temple is desecrated..and THEN shall man see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in the clouds.
You should already have learned that Jesus said in Matthew 24:22 – “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”
It is then…at the end of the 3.5 years that the Temple that is not yet built is desecrated…and the treaty is broken and armies surround Jerusalem…and THEN man shall see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in the clouds to take the saints to heaven…the rapture.
Then…in case you still don’t believe what the Bible actually teaches about what happens after the rapture when the Holy Spirit and all followers of Christ are led into heaven….and Satan is allowed to totally rule the earth – unfettered by any semblance of God….for the last 3.5 years of the seven (7) year Great Tribulation, let’s read the truth for ourselves this time.
Revelation 13:5 – “And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words, and he was given freedom to exert his authority and to exercise his will during forty-two months (three and a half years).”
So, ask yourself, if God broke the Great Tribulation period down into two halves of the seven (7) years, and spells out that the rapture takes place after the Temple is desecrated and then Satan is given freedom to do what he does best for forty and two months (3.5 years)…why would you want to believe wrong teaching about the truth of the Bible?
99% of church-goers go there on a Sunday morning…listen to some man preach from the Bible….which is great, but those same people never get into the Bible to actually study it!
If I ask, you would say, “Hey, I read the Bible”….and I’m sure that you do, but maybe you are missing what I was missing for much of my life…and that is to ask God to open your spiritual eyes so that you may comprehend and understand what He wrote to each of us.
Psalm 119:18 was found by me…and it might be the answer for you…”Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Lord…open my spiritual eyes so that I may see the wonderful things that you wrote to me from your perspective.”
To end this writing, I have to confess that I am embarking now on a mission to read the Book of Hebrews and to ask God to open my spiritual eyes that I might see the truth of what is written. - My suspicion is that no other Book of the New Testament has a known author. Oh sure, many think that Paul wrote it.
I got this statement from the Internet – “The book of Hebrews is a General Epistle (Apostolic Letter). It was written mainly to the Hebrew believers. The author is anonymous, although either Paul or Barnabas was traditionally accepted as the author. It was written approximately 67 A.D.” - So...everyone guesses about the Book of Hebrews!
Because the Book of Hebrew’s author is unknown by anyone but God Himself, and because it is written primarily to Jews….and because the author knows every detail of things that happened in the time of Moses and Noah, I’m wondering if the author is Jesus Himself. That is why I plan to study the entire Book next….something I have not done – until last night (September 6, 2021) when the thought came into my head to write this article - and then to read (study deeply) the Book of Hebrews.
I’ll never KNOW who wrote it, but I’m going to pretend that Jesus did, and read it in that context.
