Those who want to control our thinking continue to exploit the pandemic to drag us into their camp and infringe on our rights, including freedom of religion. The truth, reality, doesn't matter to this evil, lying force, driven by satan.

Even National Public Radio, not known for being very friendly to the Christian faith, called out the CDC for spreading misinformation. The CDC claims that the Delta variant of COVID 19 is "as transmissible as chicken pox." This is a gross exaggeration. This, and other distortions amount to fear mongering.

Because Christians resisted tyranny, churches have been opening up. Even without a solid law not to open, however, some churches and related ministries are succumbing to the fear mongering.

Only one church in southern Bucks County, PA is hosting sit down meals for the homeless and those in need. Other churches have just been offering grab and go meals. Recently, someone from the alleged advocates for the homeless and those in need (AHTN) told me that she dutifully makes sure she delivers food to the homeless. I stressed that the sit down meals are about ministry, where the homeless can interact with each other and the hosts. She admitted this was true, but it may not be safe to host the meals, adding that the homeless may be required to show proof of vaccination in order to eat, dispite it being unlawful. She said that non-profits have an exception. Yea, right!

Unlike NPR and others, who question the CDC, these folks allow themselves to be pulled by bit and bridle and not question the august institution's "science."

Although feeding the needy is good, man does not live by bread alone!
At the to-go meals, there is little interaction. It's not even eat and run, it's grab and go, except sometimes for brief conversations with the hosts and between guests. Recently, hosts who gave out meals to go prayed with the "guests." But sit down meals do much more.

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God." -2 Corinthians 5:20

As Christ's ambassadors, guests get to see what Christianity is all about. Some guests are either not familiar with church or have a distorted view of the church. The dine in meals are a great ministry to bring people into the church. At most dine in meals, the hosts invite the guests to their church, or any church for that matter.

I applaud the one church that, shortly after Thanksgiving, has been hosting sit down meals for the homeless and those in need. The church was ready earlier, but the alleged homeless advocates didn't get the message out in time.
Rather than fall in lockstep with the worldly establishment, Christians should be advocating for the rights of the homeless to attend sit down meals and stop making excuses for cancelling the sit down meals.
