                                    Who Makes us New?

Paul wrote 2 Cor 5:17 about becoming a ‘New Creation.’ Beginning of our lifelong journey of growing and learning. Wearing the uniform, or carrying His name requires spending much time with our Teacher to learn ‘Who makes us new.’

Our living experiences teaches us to let go, and let God, as the saying goes. None of us are where we were when we first started our ‘new journey’ with Jesus. But only to say; “Thank You Lord,” as you go before us, in our lifelong journey.

                                                            Faith Pleases God

We all are familiar with biblical definitions of faith given us from Hebrews eleven. Especially verses 1 and 6.
 ‘Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

‘And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.’

Our Lord is daily knocking at the door of our heart wanting to come in, to stay His narrow path. To share His truth with wisdom, to discern what it means. Without faith {from Him} it really is impossible to please him. To show others a way of escape from a disillusioned world of hate, fear, and contention.
How much do we measure our faith by God’s word alone?’ What makes us new?

‘for not by their own sword did they win the land,
    nor did their own arm give them victory;
but thy right hand, and thy arm,
    and the light of thy countenance;
    for thou didst delight in them.’ Psalm 44:3

Father, not in our reasoning and power, but faith given us each new day. Open our understanding to your word, to recognize, Who makes us new.
