                                             Buying Truth

Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well. Proverbs 23:23 NIV

To purchase truth as a noun, is like saying I’m going to buy hope. But consider with a capitol ‘T’ as our Lord proclaimed: “I am the way the truth and the life…”  we understand Truth cannot be purchased, but given us as a free gift, for those who will receive.

Our challenge is to invite ‘Truth’ as the Father’s promise for wisdom, grace, and strength, for waging war against those powers of darkness that tempt us with lies turning us away from Truth.
 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 
1 Corinthians 13:11 
We grow and mature in our reasoning and ambitions from childhood days of fantasy. Not to put away for some, from childhood dreams, fulfill a lifelong ambition. What I feel are Spiritually given blessings of promise from above.

Those who come, know, and receive Truth as our Way for living, it is what we attach ourselves to and find fulfillment with purpose and promise. Joshua, leading Israel across the Jordan River proclaimed:
 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8
