                            The Lord is Our Victory

Each day we find circumstances before us not expected. Much like viewing media news where we witness occurrences to our disapproval, yet we must acknowledge them. When Moses and later Joshua, led Israel to the ‘promised land,’ there were nations to be conquered. God instructed the people:
“For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4 NIV

Even today, whether it be concern over worldly military conflicts, or, our Spiritual battles with the power of darkness, it is still the Lord fighting for us.

We’ve experienced a year with challenge against a global pandemic. For many others, life threatening diseases.
Our land has been filled with fear, anxiety, anger, and demonstrations of cultural indifferences. Still, our Lord goes before us to bring calm to our own soul through these challenges.

We’re well into a new year, and we all, will encounter; ‘things not yet seen.’ Our purpose as new creatures in Jesus, {Galatians 2:20} can rest through faith given us, with certainty.

Our hymnof refuge:A Mighty for-tress is our God, a bulwark never failing Our Helper He a-mid the flood of mortal ills prevailing

For Still our ancient foe  Doth seek to work us woe- His craft and power are great, and, armed with cru-el hate, On earth is not His equal.

Singing hymns of promise strengthen who we are today, because His promises are our victory. ‘Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world.’

‘The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress’ Psalm 46:7 AMEN
