            Hope through Divine Achievement

 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 
2 Peter 1:3NIV

Isn’t that a most wonderful promise? Through His divine grace God measures out for us, much like faith, measured out to us. [Cf: Romans 12:3] for every circumstance that comes before us, His presence and resources are provided to our every need. The one request made of our Lord; our godly life is measured out through our knowledge of Him.

I would share often in my sermons, the value of building lasting relations within the fellowship of our brothers and sisters of faith. Most important is our eternal intimacy with our Lord. The personal relationship we carry in wanting Divine intervention to lead and control all our situations, will be blessing delivered, when we recognize His presence is leading. 

I must determine, when I think I’m in control, or see ahead of the circumstance what the end result will be, then it isn’t hope through faith. As the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans;    
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:24-25

Our conclusion to divine achievement to find our way of escape from harm is as follows:  
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
2 Peter 1:4
