Judgement Hour

Amos 7:7-9
(7) Thus, he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. (8) And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:  (9) And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

God tells the prophet Amos of the judgement against Israel and it also is a warning for today’s Christians and the final days of earth’s history upon the people for their utter disregard and disobedience of His ordinances.

We measure everything by a standard and the plumbline in these verses are Gods standard by which Israel was judged, and by which we today are to be judged. God said He would not pass by again, in other words God would not wink or turn His head from the idolatry and wickedness of the people anymore, He had had enough of the idolatry and wickedness. It was the judgement hour.

We as a nation had the blessings and gifts that only a loving God could bestow upon a people. We as a nation came up from nothing and in a matter of less than 200 years, we were the envy of the world in wealth, technology, medicine, charity, and military strength which made us the superpower of the world.

What happened?

Just as Israel did, we turned to idolatry, false religions, watered down bibles, prosperity and politically correct sermons lulling the people into a false sense of salvation. The churches have abandoned the true gospel in the name of political correctness to appease the wicked in fear of losing the funds necessary to maintain their status quo.

God’s laws have been changed to conform to societies whims and wishes, with the excuses such as “We live in the modern times, this is a different era and God accepts this”. The 4th commandment has been replaced with mans commandment and tradition. God’s health laws from Leviticus has been abandoned and we see the results today as the Cancers, Heart disease, Diabetes, Obesity, and a host of other diseases are rampant in our society.

Man changed the 7th day Sabbath to the 1stday of the week, a day which honors the Sun God Ra. I won’t get into that subject but anyone who studies the Bible in any degree and with an open mind and heart can see the defilement of God’s laws and what happened to the nations throughout history, and especially the Hebrew nations which abandoned God’s laws for man’s traditions.

We which call ourselves Christians are in essence merely Christian in name only and not substance. The majority of Christians today will end up in the lake of fire with Satan and his demons because they reject the true word of God and His commandments for the commandments and traditions of man, and God has a real problem with that.

Jesus said in Mark 7:8-9 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

This is exactly what todays churches and Christians are doing.
God’s Health laws are rejected

God’s 7th day Sabbath has been rejected

Same sex marriages are now celebrated and condoned by the churches

Traditional families have been abandoned , most homes are now single parent and the children being by different parents and some have no idea who the biological parents are.

It’s legal to kill a newborn baby or tear them apart in the mother’s womb. All for convenience

Money and materialistic assets are now the gods of worship.

I could go on but I pray you get the picture of what period of time we are now living in and it is very close to the midnight hour when all hope will be gone for those rejecting the true word of God.

Rev.22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city.

In John 14:15 Jesus said, “IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.”

Ask yourself this question, “Am I following God’s commandments or am I following man’s?”

When Peter and the apostles were faced with persecution from the authorities they did not waver for PC or traditions.

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, “We ought to obey God rather than men.”

In these verses from Amos we see where God has measured the people against His standard and found them completely add odds with Him, and the churches today through their spiritual harlotry have abused grace—the free, unmerited pardon of God—and rejected His law for the traditions of man, and I believe God is beginning to pass judgement on this nation, with our motto of , “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and yet reject His laws for the trust and traditions of man.

If you are following mans traditions and commandments and not God’s, NOW is the time to reject man, seek repentance of your sins and seek God, today. Time is short.

Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
