STORM WARNING

Matthew 16:2-3 2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Weather forecasts are a common daily bit of information we rely on , and of which most access at least once daily to plan activities, especially outdoor activities. Contractors rely heavily on accurate weather forecasts to determine certain construction activities.

Accurate weather information is essential as it gives us advance warnings of approaching storms such as hurricanes and other severe weather outbreaks. Being aware of these approaching storms, and the damage and destruction they can inflict, most began to make preparations by securing their property, moving to higher ground, making sure there are adequate food, water and other necessary survival items on hand before the storm hits.

Sadly, most are ignoring warnings of the most severe and destructive storm that is fast approaching and will catch the majority of this planet completely off guard. That storm is the culmination of 6000 years of a battle between good and evil. Those prepared will be protected and saved, those unprepared, like the inhabitants of Noah’s day, will perish.

The Bible is littered with hundreds of warnings of an approaching storm, the likes of which have never been seen on this planet  Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Friends, when Michael stands up, it’s all over but the shouting. Probation has closed, the door to the ark has been secured and the seven last plagues begin to rain down on the inhabitants of this planet, and there will be no escape.

Paul warned us in 2nd^t Thessalonians of the falling away first and then the man of sin is revealed.

There has already been a falling away from the true gospel, and the word of God, as the Christian churches are more interested in pollical correctness than in teaching Biblical correctness. I have  writtenseveral articles on how the Christians have abandoned the commandments of God for the traditions and commandments of man, but I want to concentrate on 2^nd Thessalonians 2:2-3, as it is a very important prophecy that I believe is being fulfilled before our very eyes, and the majority fail to, or refuse to see the truth in Paul’s prophecy as it ties directly in with today’s world.

The majority are so engrossed in worldly ways they cannot see the storms clouds overhead. They refuse to study or take seriously the prophecies concerning the final days of Earth’s history and when they finally see the truth it will be too late. Like driving on the highway and ignoring the signs warning of the bridge out ahead. The warnings don’t apply to you until you find yourself in the river and then it’s too late.

Let’s look at the scripture, and what it reveals and then I am going to show you the fulfillment of that prophecy.

2^nd Thessalonians 2:2-3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Most Christians erroneously contribute this  man of sin to a coming antichrist who will make a seven-year peace agreement with the nation of Israel and then break it after 3 and half years with great tribulation following. This I personally disagree with as there is no scriptural basis to support this theory, and I have written several studies on this particular subject.

 As verse 2 warns us, there has been a falling away from the true gospel ,and today, it continues to fall further from the truth, but who is this man of sin to be revealed?

Verse 3 tells us he will be identified by the following characteristics.

HE WILL OPPOSE  THE  TRUE WORD

HE WILL EXALT HIMSELF ABOVE GOD

HE CLAIMS TO BE AS GOD SITTING IN THE TEMPLE

Is there such a person today who fits that description?

The prophet Daniel, the apostle John, and Paul all describe this entity which will arise. Is this entity here today?

You be the judge as you read the following quotes and  the source from which they came,  and which fit directly with the descriptions given by Paul in 2^nd Thessalonians, by Daniel, and by the Apostle John in the book of Revelation. This is only a few, I have hundreds.

The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden under the veil of flesh.” Catholic National July 1895.   ( 2^nd Thess.2:3)

The Bull Unam Sanctam… Issued by POPE BONIFACE VIII reads as follows:  “The Roman Pontiff judges all men but is judged by no one. We declare, assert, define and pronounce: to be subject to the Roman Pontiff is to every human creature necessary for salvation that which was spoken of Christ ‘thou has subdued all things under his feet’ may well seem verified in me… I have the authority of the King of Kings. I am all in all and above all, so that God himself and I, the vicar of God, have but one consistory, and I am able to do all that God can do.”                                         (see Isaiah 29:13 & Isaiah 14:12-15) (2^nd Thess.2:3)

And God himself is obliged to abide by the judgment of his priest and either not to pardon or to pardon, according as they refuse to give absolution, provided the penitent is capable of it.” -Liguori, «Duties and Dignities of the Priest», p.27  (2^nd Thess.2:3)

The Savior Himself is the door of the sheepfold: ‘I am the door of the sheep.’ Into this fold of Jesus Christ, no man may enter unless he be led by the Sovereign Pontiff; and only if they be united to him can men be saved, for the Roman Pontiff is the Vicar of Christ and His personal representative on earth.” (Pope John XXIII in his homily to the Bishops and faithful assisting at his coronation on November 4, 1958).

“To make war against the Pope is to make war against God, seeing the Pope is God, and God is the Pope.” -Moreri’s History. (Louis Moréri (25 March 1643 – 10 July 1680) was a French priest and encyclopedist.)  (2^nd Thess.2:3)

“This judicial authority will even include the power to forgive sin.” -The Catholic Encyclopedia Vol 12, -article “Pope” pg. 265 ( see Mk.2:7 & Luke 5:21 & Isaiah 29:13)  (2^nd Thess.2:3-4)

NOTE: All emphasis is mine.

Only God can forgive sins;  Mark 2:7, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?”

Friends the scriptures describing the Pope as the  MAN OF SIN is so accurate it cannot  be denied. The word of God is so accurate it makes me tremble at the thought and majesty of our Heavenly Father, of whom I  am unworthy to even call upon His Holy name and that He sent His son Jesus to die, that you and I could be found worthy by humbling ourselves and seeking His grace and mercy, which none of us deserves.

The storm is approaching landfall, are you prepared, have you stored up the spiritual oil for survival?  If not, stop what you are doing and seek God today,  come out of the deceptive teaching churches, Rev.18:4… Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. we don’t know what tomorrow holds, one only has to look at the last few months to recognize how quickly things can change.

Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

May  God add a blessing to the going forth of His word
