1st Samuel 12:15 But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.

In todays world, just as in times past, and in Jesus’s brief period of walking and teaching among men, He rebuked the religious leaders and the people for their utter disobedience of Gods commandments and ordinances for putting their own traditions and commandments ahead of Gods.

Mark 7:6-9 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.(Isa 29:13) 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Just as in Jesus’s day, we as supposed followers of Jesus, deem the modern culture, and political correctness more convenient to follow than what is perceived as restrictive living if you follow the commandments and ordinances of God, laid down at the foundation of the world.

Being obedient to God’s will takes faith and perseverance, something the majority lacks, and as we draw closer to the times of troubles, of which I personally believe we are presently entering into, it is of the utmost urgency that we turn to God’s word to strengthen our faith and become more obedient to His commandments and His ordinances, if we are to enter into the Promised Land.

Many are teaching that God’s commandments no longer apply, we are not subject to the laws and ordinances of God anymore. Instead we are saved by grace, which is true, and Jesus offers an abundance of grace to those accepting His way and not man’s.

Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Are you in the group of which the preceding verses are speaking of, going through the rituals but denying the truth?

Here is another verse for you to ponder.

Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

We are in perilous times folks, and the time is coming very shortly in which a test of great magnitude will come upon those professing to be followers of Christ, and only the strong in faith, and the word of God will stand as Luke 13:28 states.

Will you be a part of the group Luke is describing, or will you be a part of the group described in Revelation 22:14 & Revelation 14:12?

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Rev.22:14

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Rev.14:12

Now is the moment to get your spiritual life and your relationship with God in pristine condition, when Michael stands, it will be too late, the probation period will have ended and those not prepared, will be lost forever as Rev. 22:11-12 indicates.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Matt 24:21 Mark 13:19)

Rev.22:11-12 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

May God add a blessing to the going forth of His word and to those reading it.

1st Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
