In the middle of all the prophecies in Isaiah, no less than nine times, as one reads through the book, it is stated that God, the Creator, is the one and only Savior for humanity. 

     The first reference is in 26:13. There have been many presidents, kings, and other rulers, down through history, but “O Lord our God, other masters besides Thee have ruled us, but through you alone we confess your name.”

     God was before all others. “Before Me there was no god formed, and there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and there is no Savior besides Me” (43:10-11). This thought is continued in verse 13. “Even from eternity. I am He. There is no who can deliver out of My hand, I act and who can reverse it?”

     In verse 44:6 it is said that “God is the first and the last. There is no God besides God.”

      This thread continues in 45:5-7. “I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no One besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, the one forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity. I am the Lord who does all these things.”

     This is reiterated in 45:21-22. “There is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; There is none except me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other.”

     Verses 46:9-12 state, “For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure...I have planned it, surely I will do it.’”

     Isaiah 53:4-6 speaks of the price that Jesus paid as our one and only Savior. This passage foretold the death of Jesus on the cross. “Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried. Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his own way, but the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.”

     Hallelujah! There is a Savior, THE Savior, Jesus Christ! “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
