This first part of the study will be followed by part 2 - Jesus is The Only Way, Part 3 - Trust in God and His Plan for Humanity, and Part 4 - Judgment of the World. Even though Isaiah is a prophetic book, among all the prophecies are choice nuggets of scripture that pertain to each of these four topics, and which are relevant for our day.

     It begins as worship to God the Creator.

     God as the creator begins in 40:26 where it says, “Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of his might and the strength of his power not one of them is missing.”

     The emphasis then shifts to God the Creator of you and me. God formed us from the womb (44:2), and He called us from the womb for a purpose (49:1 and 5).

     God says ”I made the earth, and created man upon it. I stretched out the heavens with my hands, and I ordained all their hosts...who created the heavens...who formed the earth and made it. He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited” (45:12 and 18).

     ”Surely My hand founded the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens. When I call to them they stand together” (48:13).

     This thread running through Isaiah now transitions to forgetting God The Creator. “You have forgotten the Lord your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth” (51:13). 

     Among all the things that God has created and brought into being, He is looking for the one “who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles“ at his word (66:2), because...

    There is coming a time when all humanity will come to bow before their Creator (66:23).
