I believe so. "Pestilence" shows up in 42 verses of the New American Standard Bible if you do a Keyword Search at BibleGateway.com. God's judgment appears to be associated with every verse.

The Feb. 24, 2020 The Atlantic article, "You're Likely to Get the Coronavirus" says this:

The Harvard epidemiology professor Marc Lipsitch is exacting in his diction, even for an epidemiologist. Twice in our conversation he started to say something, then paused and said, “Actually, let me start again.” So it’s striking when one of the points he wanted to get exactly right was this: “I think the likely outcome is that it will ultimately not be containable.”

Lipsitch predicts that, within the coming year, some 40 to 70 percent of people around the world will be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. But, he clarifies emphatically, this does not mean that all will have severe illnesses. “It’s likely that many will have mild disease, or may be asymptomatic,” he said. As with influenza, which is often life-threatening to people with chronic health conditions and of older age, most cases pass without medical care. (Overall, around 14 percent of people with influenza have no symptoms.)

Lipsitch is far from alone in his belief that this virus will continue to spread widely. The emerging consensus among epidemiologists is that the most likely outcome of this outbreak is a new seasonal disease—a fifth “endemic” coronavirus. With the other four, people are not known to develop long-lasting immunity. If this one follows suit, and if the disease continues to be as severe as it is now, “cold and flu season” could become “cold and flu and COVID-19 season.”

Habakkuk 3:5 is one of the most interesting references to "pestilence." Here it is in a slightly wider context of 3 verses:

3 God comes from Teman,
And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah.
His splendor covers the heavens,
And the earth is full of His praise.
4 His radiance is like the sunlight;
He has rays flashing from His hand,
And there is the hiding of His power.
5 Before Him goes pestilence,

And plague comes after Him.

Do these verses cover the 4 millennia of Israel? I believe that they might:

3 God comes from Teman,
And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah.
His splendor covers the heavens,
And the earth is full of His praise.

Israel's 1st millennial "day," 1970 BC-970 BC: God comes from Teman (from Edom, from the direction of present-day Jordan) and from Mount Paran (from the Sinai of Egypt). "His splendor covers the heavens [Israel], And the earth [Israel] is full of His praise." So it was at the end of that millennium.

4 His radiance is like the sunlight;

Israel's 2nd millennial "day," 970 BC-30 AD: Jesus the Sun (Malachi 4:2) accomplishes His work of redemption at the very end of this millennium.

He has rays flashing from His hand,
And there is the hiding of His power.

Israel's 3rd millennial "day," 30 AD-1030 AD: the "rays flashing [this word is not in the text] from His [Jesus'] hand" probably refers to both the gospel preaching and miraculous works of the Apostles (John 9:3-5) and the binding of the Jews and Satan and the unbound demons in 70 AD. After that, there was "the hiding of His [Jesus'] power."

5 Before Him goes pestilence,

And plague comes after Him.

Israel's 4th millennial "day," 1030 AD-2030 AD: at the end of the 6th millennium, Israel's 4th, "pestilence" will come "Before Him [Jesus]." I believe this refers to Jesus' coming in the clouds in 2023 to receive "the dead in Christ" and "we who are alive and remain" (1 Thess. 4:16-18). This is the resurrection and rapture. At the same time, Moses and Elijah will descend to Jerusalem to preach the kingdom of God there and perform signs and wonders. Remember that it was through Moses that God brought the 10 plagues on Egypt. I believe that Elijah will again bring drought and Moses will again bring plagues upon unregenerate Israel in the first 3 1/2 years of those last 7 years before they are killed by the Jewish Antichrist, who will be resurrected and possessed by Satan. I believe that this is the meaning of "plague comes after Him [Jesus in 2023]."

Keep your eyes on what God allows Satan and the unbound demons to do with the Coronavirus before 2023.
